The CIO Office Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in all aspects of the Liebherr IT strategy and ensuring the efficient operation of the IT leadership team. You will play the leading role in managing and integrating our information technology to enhance our success at Liebherr and align with our Liebherr Group's strategic goals. This role involves administrative support, strategic coordination, project management, and communication facilitation between IT leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners. As Senior Product Manager for Product Inventory & Software Update Management, you will lead the implementation and operation of key services that ensure digital transparency over Liebherr products in the field. You will build and operate a robust ecosystem for managing software and hardware bills of materials (SBOM/HBOM), configuration tracking, and update eligibility. Your work lays the foundation for secure and efficient software updates, risk-based vulnerability management, and full lifecycle compliance across all Liebherr divisions. Your responsibilitiesLead the cross-divisional implementation of a centralized product inventory system including SBOMs, HBOMs, and configuration tracking for all products Design and operate the core service that enables transparency over product composition, software versions, and deployment configurations across the product lifecycle Collaborate with business units, engineering, IT, and compliance to ensure the system meets operational, cybersecurity, and regulatory needs Define integration requirements with existing systems such as PLM, ERP, and CMDB to build a connected digital backbone Take full lifecycle ownership of the product inventory service, including governance, continuous improvement, and service adoption across Liebherr Support and enable the secure operation of the Software Update Management System (SUMS) by providing product-specific data, such as update eligibility, dependency resolution, and installed base intelligence Support SBOM-driven vulnerability and impact analysis, helping prioritize updates and track risk exposure across the fleet Contribute to the orchestration of update campaigns by supporting variant-aware rollout strategies and tracking update propagation Ensure traceability and auditability for product updates and changes, supporting cyber security, safety, and compliance obligations Your qualifications5+ years experience in project or product management, ideally in automotive, embedded, or regulated environments. Good understanding of budget, forecasting, business case thinking and overall finance management.
