Project Manager (m/f/d) Business Unit Boeing

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will manage projects within the Boeing Business Unit, while ensuring successful delivery of the project scope within the specified time and budget.
• You are controlling the project status (budget, schedule, delivery items) and ensure compliance with milestones, specifications, processes in an aviation environment.
• You set priorities for the project team to ensure project success on the critical path.
• You negotiate project parameters with the customer, if necessary, and adjust the planning accordingly in cooperation with the Business Unit Manager at Telair.
• You are also supporting the Business Unit Manager and Sales Team in acquiring other profitable new business projects.
• You are responsible for planning, control, and management of such new customer-focused programs for various aircraft platforms.
• Typical duration for a project is 6 months for product improvement projects to 3 years for new systems. This does not include acquisition and planning phase.
• You will have opportunities to expand your perspective in the future and enhance your skills by handling assignments in Sales and Operations.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• As the ideal candidate, you hold a university degree in industrial engineering, business administration or comparable qualification.
• You demonstrate 3 years of expertise in project management, preferably in the aviation industry.
• Certification in project management (e.g. IPMA Level D or similar) preferred.
• Results oriented, with bias for action and a sense of urgency.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, data-driven with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple items.
• Self-starter that excels in an entrepreneurial ownership culture.
• Leadership abilities, including high accountability.
• Solid business acumen.
• Effective open and honest communicator with solid interpersonal skills.
• You are fluent in English and German language, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to develop yourself professionally beyond this position.
